Course dates: September 13 - October 11, 2024. This online course is designed to provide a continuing education / professional development opportunity for Community Health Workers (CHWs) who have completed entry-level CHW training. A limited number of scholarships are available, with priority given to residents of Jefferson, Crook, Grant, Wheeler and Harney counties. This palliative care continuing education course provides a skillset and knowledge base that can improve the quality of life for patients with serious illness. This online course is an essential introduction to palliative care and hospice education, and it can serve as a stepping stone to further learning in end-of-life care.
