Eliza lewis
NEDA-Proficient End of Life Doula
Eliza has been making friends with death from the young age of 12 when her close friend died from leukemia. In 2018 she sat with her brother at the end of his life. This experience confirmed her life-long calling to be present for others at the end of life, and awakened in her a passion for more death literacy and a pathway to peace and acceptance of
mortality.
In 2020, Eliza began her education with Sacred Art of Living Community in Bend and completed the year-long Healing the Healers course. In 2021 she began a 2-year Anamcara Apprenticeship Project learning through the Celtic tradition the sacred art of living and dying.
Eliza‘s natural ability to be warm and loving has blossomed as she continues to learn the skills of friendship and support with compassion and kindness at the end-of-life. She completed The Peaceful Presence Project training in 2021 and has since been inspired to continue on the end-of-life doula path…one day at a time.
